Anonymous anything box*

*Anything you write will just come to me with a timestamp, no IP is stored except in the server logs where it gets lost like a needle in a haystack.

I saw people use this anonymous questions, I wanted to know how it works and it's basically using a third party app. So I decided to rather use own resources and DIY. I was bored, OK? ;p

So this is an ASP.NET Razor page application running on a private server saving messages to a .txt file. And currently that's it. I'm looking for ideas on how to get notifications of new messages. Is RSS still best way or is there anything better out there? Consider I'll be accessing it mostly from Android.
